We sell our food in 8 kg bags because this size ensures the contents can be finished within the recommended 6‑week freshness window once opened. This guideline applies to all dry pet foods as recommended by national regulations and industry best practice. An 8 kg bag is the ideal balance - large enough for value, yet small enough that all but the smallest dogs can finish their food while it is still at peak freshness.

This size also makes everyday handling easier. Smaller bags are more manageable to lift, store and decant into storage containers - no more spilling your dog’s food all over the floor :)
