About The founder
With nearly four decades serving animals in the veterinary pharmaceutical and pet food industries - latterly specialising in palatability and nutrition across dry, wet and treat formats, I’ve seen first-hand how formulation, processing and storage shape a dog’s food experience.

Dogs experience food through smell first and food quality drives that experience. Dry food in particular, requires a careful balance of storage conditions, nutrient integrity and sensory appeal. When achieved, this balance profoundly impacts a dog’s well-being and mealtime enjoyment.
I founded the brand to apply decades of industry insight to food that delivers consistent vitality, creating meals dogs instinctively recognise and enjoy. Seeing the difference in their health and mealtime satisfaction is deeply rewarding.

Yes! Freshness isn’t about moisture - it’s about how ingredients are sourced, handled and prepared. Our kibble is gently cooked to preserve nutrients and flavor, with minimal storage time to maintain peak quality. Your dog’s nose will know the difference.

We sell our food in 8 kg bags because this size ensures the contents can be finished within the recommended 6‑week freshness window once opened. This guideline applies to all dry pet foods as recommended by national regulations and industry best practice. An 8 kg bag is the ideal balance - large enough for value, yet small enough that all but the smallest dogs can finish their food while it is still at peak freshness.
This size also makes everyday handling easier. Smaller bags are more manageable to lift, store and decant into storage containers - no more spilling your dog’s food all over the floor :)

We recommend a gradual transition over 7 days. This approach is advised when introducing any new pet food, as it allows the gut microbiome to adapt and ensuring a gentle, healthy transition to the new food. Switch your dog's diet slowly by mixing Cruiser™ or Explorer™ with their current food using the suggested ratio below:
